Southeastern Mills� Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy Mix.
The old mill at berry college built in 1930, Rome, Georgia.
Makes 2 cups.
Ingredients
Shortening
Powder (Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium
Caseinate, Mono and Diglycerides, Sodium Citrate, Salt, Dipotassium
Phosphate, Sodium Silicoalumnate, Soy Lecithin), Modified Corn Starch,
Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine
Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Salt, Spices, Caramel Color.
Directions
Preparation
time 10 minutes.
Makes 2 cups.
1. Boil 1 cup water in a sauce pan.
2.
Pour dry gravy mix into a small mixing bowl.
3. Gradually stir 3/4 cup
cool water into gravy mix until smooth.
4. Add gravy blend into boiling
water, stirring constantly. Return to boil and remove from heat when
desired thickness is reached. Enjoy!
Reheating directions: Place
refrigerated leftover gravy into a microwave safe dish and loosely
cover. Heat on high for 1-minute intervals, stirring after each minute
until thoroughly warmed. If gravy is too thick, add water until desired
consistency is reached.
